Detailed Step-by-Step Instructions for Online Giving
Go to the United Methodist Church of Kent’s online giving page (see link at bottom).
On the donation page, you will see several donation options. Please use the “Special Gifts” box on the first page to enter your contribution. Their donation page auto- populates $25.00 in the “general fund” box, so be sure mark all funds, including “general fund,” as $0.00 if you want your entire donation to go to this “special gifts” ministry. If you have donated here before, skip to step 6 to enter your email and password. Remember to indicate that this donation is for Love, Love, Love Ministries in step seven.
If you have not donated through the UMC of Kent before, you will need to click the “Sign Up” button in the upper right corner of the page. Type in your email address and click “search.” After the website searches and finds that your email is not already in the system, you will then be able to click “NEXT” to set up an account. By adding your name and contact information when setting up an account, the fiscal sponsor’s finance director will be able to provide you with a contribution statement for your taxes; you will not be signed up to receive continued communications from our fiscal sponsor by entering your information.
Click “CREATE A PROFILE.”
Now that you have an account, you can just sign in and verify your email address to easily give online.
Click “GIVE NOW” on the left side of the screen. Enter your donation (see step 2).
Fill in the “Gift Frequency” (the system auto-populates as a one-time gift) and “Payment Information.” PLEASE INDICATE LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MINISTRIES IN THE "NOTE" BOX AND THE PROGRAM TO WHICH YOU ARE DONATING (TUTORING OR COMPANIONS). This is the only way to ensure your donation will go to the Love, Love, Love Ministries account. This is also the place to let us know if your donation is being made in honor of someone. We can send a letter for you to share with the honoree to let them know a gift has been made in their name.
