  • Love Love Love Ministries has been a huge blessing to the residents at Altercare Post-Acute.  When volunteers visit to chat, bring the rolling library, paint nails, or even for a pet visit it brightens the day for the residents. They very much look forward to the visits, and we all appreciate them so much. The smiles on the residents' faces brightens the day for our staff too. It is just a win win for us! Thanks so much!

  • I just started with Love Love Love. And I love it! I look forward to going and visiting. Sometimes I just sit with them while eating and chat or encourage them to eat. After dinner they like to play games visit or go for a walk. It always fills my heart being there!

  • My child recently completed the summer reading program with Ms. Scott and Love, Love, Love Ministries, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. My daughter worked hard throughout her kindergarten year, but she still had some reading skills she needed to refine. As a parent who is keenly aware of how different the learning landscape is today compared to when I was in kindergarten, I enrolled my daughter in the Love, Love, Love Ministries summer program to ensure she received some extra one-on-one support from a certified teacher to maintain progress over the summer. Ms. Scott’s expertise and dedication were evident from the very first session. The program’s structure, meeting twice a week for about 50 minutes, was perfect for reinforcing skills. My child loved the sessions with Ms. Scott. The engaging activities and personalized attention helped build her confidence with reading. It was clear that Ms. Scott tailored the lessons to my child's unique needs and learning style. This summer reading program was an invaluable opportunity for my child to stay on track and enter first grade with a strong foundation.   • When my son started tutoring, he was a few levels behind where he should have been. With him working with love, love, love ministries he has come so far. My son was going twice a week for an hour each time. He is now reading harder books i.e. chapter books. The wonderful tutors are so patient and kind with the kids. My son is becoming so much more confident with his reading it is so amazing to watch.

  • My child received summer reading instruction with Love, Love, Love Ministries one hour at a time twice a week and it made such a drastic difference in my child' reading ability. My child had the opportunity to work with two different instructors during the duration of the program and while both had their own styles of doing things, both helped out tremendously in different aspects of reading and speech throughout the summer. I felt completely comfortable with the instructors and felt that my child was in good hands while I was not right there with them. There were multiple instructors in the room at one time and at a very safe public location where I could remain on site during the lesson. I first signed up for Love, Love, Love Ministries after it was recommended to me by an instructor involved in the program at my child's school.  While my child was hesitant at first to continue going to school throughout the summer, my child is very happy with the progress they have made and that they can now read without me!

  • I truly believe that Love, Love, Love Ministries has played a pivotal role in helping to bridge the gap of the summer slide that can occur in reading over the break. While we try our best to read daily with our children there is just something different about one on one time with someone that is not family that really helps to make the difference in making learning something more fun. My child went from struggling to read a single word if it appeared to be too difficult to reading full sentences without assistance. I am beyond grateful to have been offered this opportunity with Love, Love, Love Ministries for my child and the positive role it has played on the future education of my child. My child is excited for the school year ahead and my child feels more ready than ever before for classes to begin. I would recommend this program to everyone I know and I can only hope that we will have this opportunity again in the future as I truly believe it has made all the difference this summer in my child's education.   • My daughter had a great experience with Love, Love, Love Ministries this summer. At the end of the school year, her teacher was worried she wouldn’t continue the reading gains she had been making in the spring over the summer. Her teacher suggested Love, Love, Love Ministries. My daughter worked with Ms. Livesay twice a week, and I’ve noticed overall improvements in her reading skills. Thanks again for the positive results Love, Love, Love Ministries.

  • When my daughter started tutoring my husband and I were very excited. Our daughter struggled in kindergarten which made her play catch up her entire first grade year. As parents we were very concerned about her losing the ground she made up during the school year over the summer. The tutoring she received all summer has been amazing! One hour twice a week of individualized tutoring in reading has not only helped her retain what she learned she has made up more ground over the summer!   • My daughter started tutoring with Michelle right when school ended. She was struggling with reading, and I could tell she didn't have confidence when reading out loud. Seeing Michelle two times a week for an hour through the summer has my daughter ready for second grade. I can see a huge improvement with her confidence and skills.   • I am extremely appreciative of the services received by my child through Love, Love, Love Ministries. My son was having a difficult time with reading and was well below reading at grade level even though he tried to hide it because he was embarrassed. We started tutoring in the summer just a couple days a week for an hour at a time and by the spring he was already reading at grade level and even passing his state tests which has been a miraculous change from where he was before. His tutors have been very knowledgeable and were able to break things down and teach him in a way that I never could, and they have even taught me skills to be able to help him as well. I can also say that I trust his tutor completely with my child she is kind, patient, and if I have to run and do something I feel comforted knowing that she will care for his safety as much as I do. My son is proud of his improved reading skills and his family has noticed the change as well. The things we take for granted like being able to read signs and labels with ease has given him confidence, and he is proud to announce what things say instead of relying on the word of others. I would recommend Love, Love, Love Ministries to everyone lucky enough to come across this wonderful life changing opportunity. I fully believe my son would not be reading at the level he is today without them, and for this I will be forever grateful.

It has been a blessing to tutor for Love, Love, Love Ministries. I am a kindergarten teacher with over 25 years experience. I have seen the rise in reading expectations for the little ones. They are reading and writing in kindergarten. Sometimes students need extra support to help them succeed in reading. With Love, Love, Love Ministries I am able to give explicit phonics and phonemic awareness instruction on a one-on-one basis.
